Customer Success Intern

In the next 10 years, 90% of legal services will be delivered online. What’s the obstacle? Coding the expertise of all the world’s lawyers.

Gavel is the no-code infrastructure enabling this legal revolution.

We are a small, passionate team led by Dorna Moini (CEO) and  Pierre Martin (CTO), on a mission to change how legal services and technology work for all. Law firms, nonprofits, and courts in 23 different countries use our platform as the infrastructure to make legal services more accessible, intuitive, modern, and scalable.

We have paying customers and an active community of thousands of builders and legal experts with supportive feedback. Our recent round of seed funding, led by top-tier venture capital and the founders of code.org, will help us scale our product and reach.

We seek a talented and enthusiastic law student to join Gavel as an intern. In this role, you will work closely with our team to help us support and improve our legal tech platform. You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal tech industry and learn about the latest trends and technologies.

👤 Who Are You?

  • You are currently enrolled in law school or in pre-law studies.
  • You're adaptable and ambitious. You'll enthusiastically take on different assignments to support your team.
  • You're extremely detail-oriented.
  • You can clearly articulate ideas, and you love talking to customers (particularly lawyers and other legal staff).
  • You're a dynamite problem solver, and you're good at solving puzzles.
  • You're articulate and approachable, and you can clearly explain your findings.
  • You're a fast-moving juggler. You successfully manage competing priorities, and you make it look easy.

❤️  What You'll Do:

  • Talk to our wonderful customers (mostly sophisticated parties like lawyers and knowledge workers) by email and via our Slack channel.
  • Help us improve the Gavel experience for our customers by creating learning guides and support material while using your legal expertise.
  • Collaborate with our support and product team to ensure users understand the product and can use Gavel effectively.
  • Participate in Customer Success Team meetings and brainstorming sessions to help us develop new ideas and strategies.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.
