Nisha is a detail oriented Documater who comes highly recommended by law firms using Documate across the country.
We sat down with Nisha to ask her more about her process. Here's our interview with her:
Tell us about yourself!
I’m a detail-oriented Documater and software developer that has helped automate documents for many law firms. I have previously built Documate workflows in estate law and corporate law.
What is your document automation experience?
I have used Documate to automate various legal documents including loan agreements, estate documents, last wills and share agreements. I’m primarily a software developer, so I can dig into the code and find out a solution that works for the document I’m working on.
Can you describe your process for how you build a document automation workflow?
My process starts with figuring out the client’s needs. This includes asking the client about the scope of their project and getting draft documents that they need automated. I then go over the documents and get back to the client with any queries I may have. Once all the details of the project have been mapped out, I design the workflow and code the documents. For more complex projects, I design and code documents in chunks to make testing easier and have client input along the way so that I can make any changes if required.
What do you think are the most important qualities for a document automation specialist?
I think it is very important for a document automation specialist to be detail-oriented, precise and creative. A document can be written in many different ways depending on the scenario, so a document automation specialist needs to be able to think about all possible scenarios and be able to incorporate them into the document. This will require thinking outside the box, so it is important to be able to think creatively.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy traveling and exploring new places and when I’m not traveling, I like to play the piano.
